"Agreed, ask anyone in the Weinel Hills area. $2700.00 Mandatory tap on fee, not to mention the $6000.00 worth of work that will be required to hook up to their new system. These are homes with existing septic systems, some of them brand new systems. Then they will put a lien on your home if unpaid. After telling you that you can pay it at $72.00 per month on your sewer bill and telling me that I did not have to do so until I've moved into the house. Sure you can keep your septic if you hire their approved contractors to do yearly inspections and pay the ridiculous tap on fee."
"This place operates like the mofia. They come around and charge you outrageous fees ($1,000 to $2,000) per toilet and sink in your house. We decided to finish our basement and made the HUGE mistake of calling the city inspectors because we were trying to do the right thing. O'Fallon inspectors were not bad at all. But all sewage in O'Fallon is controlled by Caseyville Sewer systems, which means that they get to come in and charge these outrageous fees for nothing. I can tell you that I spent $12,000 finishing my basement, but then got a $6,000 bill at the end by Caseyville Sewer. This place really stinks. I am going to call "you paid for it" to crack down on this criminal organization."
