Welcome to the practice of Dr. Capritta Roberts, a distinguished ophthalmologist located at 6 South 14th Street, Fernandina Beach, Florida. As a valued member of the Coastal Vision Center since July 2020, Dr. Roberts brings a wealth of expertise and compassionate care to the community. A graduate of the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, she further honed her skills with a fellowship in Cornea and External Disease at the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Roberts specializes in complex cataract surgeries, including scleral fixated lens placement and refractive cataract surgery. Her proficiency extends to corneal transplantation techniques such as Descemet’s membrane endothelial keratoplasty. She is dedicated to the medical and surgical care of the cornea and ocular surface, addressing conditions like dry eye disease, conjunctival chalasis, pterygium excision, keratoconus, and limbal stem cell transplantation.
Known for her compassionate approach, Dr. Roberts prioritizes clear communication and patient education, ensuring that each individual feels informed and comfortable throughout their care journey. Originally from the Tampa Bay Area, she now calls Amelia Island home and enjoys outdoor activities with her beloved dog, Roux.
