"Love stopping in here on my routes because the bathrooms are always clean. I recently started buying their wings and was pleasantly surprised at the freshness. Unfortunately that pleasant surprise only lasted about two visits. Today I stopped in for chicken at about a quarter to twelve for and it didn't "look" old at all. However, imagine my surprise when I heard that they start marking down the price at 12pm! If I had waited just a few more moments maybe I would've gotten my money's worth. But that's doubtful because the hot wings I got today tasted old. I know the difference between freshly cooked chicken and chicken that has been under lights for hours or re-heated from the previous day. This tasted at least a day old. Then much to my dismay: my 4 yr old handed me her bowl of mostly-eaten chicken bones, and I see one of them clearly has GREEN spots on the bone. So either the chicken had green muscle disease and it was still cooked or--like the hot wings I had --the chicken is old. I probably will only use this place for a pissstop in the future because $5.59 plus IL state tax for some food that might poison us is definitely bad business!!"

"I live in the area and love the fried chicken they serve... However, they always seem to be out of fried chicken by around 9am and almost never restock for lunch..."

"It’s an alright place, fairly kinda clean for being old and getting run down. The customer service was so so; the lady in kitchen was cool, the register one was kind of mean. The food is gas station food and nothing spectacular, cold ~ soggy..... What really makes going there fun is the location, getting in and out can be a real pain! So 3 stars it is!! Keep up the good work!!!"

"Store needs some real tlc! Especially the bathrooms that look dingy! Floors are old and hard to keep clean! The food they cook is alright! Some of the gas station attendants don't seem like that they work there! Prices are OK on some things and other things are overpriced compared to other shells in the Illinois Quad Cities"
