"My check engine light was on in my 2019 Chevy Cruze. I was due for an oil change soon so I made an appointment at my regular shop (Farm & Fleet) and asked them to perform an oil change as well as run a diagnostic test for the engine light. They gave me copies of the test and two codes were present. They referred me to a full service garage or Chevy dealership moving forward for these codes. I made an appointment at Eriksen Chevy for exactly 7 days later. I dropped my car off and signed for $160 diagnostic test. I was called 1 hour later to approve an oil change..somehow my oil was low. I approved the oil change assuming something else would be discovered in the process but I was called 8 hours later saying my car is done and ready to go. I asked how it’s fixed when only an oil change was performed. Somehow the engine light isn’t on any more and the oil change fixed everything. A technician apparently drove it around and the light stayed off so all is well. I did explain at drop off and over the phone that the engine light has not been consistently on. It comes on and off. I was told this is where we must start and if the light comes back on, to call them back. At pick up I inquired about returning when/if the light comes back. I feel the issue may not have been fixed since I just had an oil change 7 days ago. I was told by Jeremiah that for 30 days the diagnostic fee of $160 could be waved for me as long as the same codes are present. I was okay with this so I signed and went to pay for today’s services. At payment collection I asked for a copy of everything in the stack of papers. I was told the bottom half of papers is just codes that i wouldn’t understand so I don’t need them. They said they are for accounting purposes. I said I understand that may be the case but if it’s in a stack regarding my car, I would like a copy. I told them I might need to return or go elsewhere so that’s why I want all the documents regarding this matter. The younger woman behind the counter initially said she would not do this, but then said she will but that it will take awhile because they copy 1 paper at a time so to have a seat. She came out minutes later and gave me 3 papers stapled together. I obviously asked where the rest was and that is when she raised her voice and accused me of thinking she’s lying. One of the papers she held up to show me that I “don’t need” was a paper from F&F that I brought with at drop off! It was MY COPY?? She literally refused to give me something that I brought with me?? She moved our conversation to another area of the building for other staff members to hear as if I was being so combative and rude that she could no longer handle the situation alone. I explained to her that I am asking for copies of everything that will be in the file regarding this car and what was done today. I ended up not taking everything because it’s “pictures of a car that isn’t even your car”. I left upset. I feel completely unsatisfied with the service I received at this facility and especially the customer service. I work with people every day at my place of employment and I never raise my voice at customers. I was not rude to her until she was rude to me. I did not accuse her of lying and I did not raise my voice. I asked for copies of all documents regarding my car and I was treated as a major inconvenience. I paid $245 for essentially an oil change.. TLDR:My car is in the same condition it was when I dropped off and I was literally scolded at by an adult woman staff member for asking her to make me copies of the documents regarding this matter. Staff members should not escalate situations by yelling at people, giving attitude and refusing to help. Completely unacceptable if you ask me. I’d like to speak with someone of higher authority regarding this situation."

"The service itself was great. However the the condescending attitude from the service manager was not great. This is not the first time I had that experience while getting a service."

"Wonderful service department. I do not live in the Quad Cities but had a serious issue with my Chevrolet. Even though I was not a long established customer they took care of my problem within an hour and a half. Extremely nice. When it's time to trade I'll be back!"

"I had a warranty item that needed to be taken care of at a Chevy dealership. I was able to schedule my visit over the phone and waited at the dealership for completion. It was completed in the estimated timeframe."
