"I am a truck driver who visited this store on today 02/08/2024. I bought a cup of water and the cashier charged me for a fountain drink, I asked them for a refund and they told me they did not do refunds! I am looking to get in contact with corporate for this gas station! It is illegal to not give refunds without a sign being posted stating refunds are not available. I will be contacting my lawyer regarding this petty issue as well if someone doesn't get in contact with me asap"

"Hey you would think that you would want good cashier's to keep your regulars happy and to make new visitors feel welcome. Why have a automated oxygen machine running the store. It shuts doors5 minutes early on weekends because it can't maintain coolers cleaning or customers. It's barely breathing but finds time to go out and take cigarette breaks. Don't offer people drinks when gamming cause to much movement isnt a option but has the nerve to check regulars for getting there soda on way out. Honestly it's retarded to say something to regulars when seen playing. Got my own pop cause wasn't offered then that oxygen machine wanted to cough out comments on way out. I don't know who hired the corpse with the oxygen machine but I'd rather see someone who can breath on there own there with some common sense. Seems to me that attitude arrogance and hospital equipment isn't part of the job. He closed last night 5-10 minutes early I went without my cigarettes for night because he had clean store come at 11 am to a messy gaming room unstocked cooler and one worked up iron lung out side shaking trying to light his cigarette and kick start the 1 lung he has available. To be honest it is not cool to come to a nasty attitude having lung who isn't supposed to close early. It's a gaming room state says available until midnight not 11:50. Regardless of the fact the hospital machine has cooler and store to clean it should be maintained during work like a normal employee. Be out by 12:15 he's there till 1am and store shows no sign of cleaning today. Papers and wrappers same place they were night before. When you start having incapable oxygen/ Ai machines working at store it's time to give it up. Get some one in there that can at least breath. I'd pull the plug on this iron lung do away with pinochio and higher a real boy. I honestly don't think I'll be getting gas drinks cigs or gaming here anymore spend hundreds usually weekly 350.00 this week and old iron lung wanted to beep beep. Please I pay 100's those pops are meaningless to me at this point thousands spent gaming here that fountain pop is Penny's. To lose regulars to it might make u wanna put capable knowledgeable person with some customer service skills back in there and get rid of the oxygen machine that runs on cigarette smoke. I understand the employment market is down but lets try to get a live person in there people come on!"

"I found myself in Milan running an errand on a Saturday morning. After finishing, I found myself wanting a drink and a snack. With this Q C Mart close by, I decided to stop here to state this desire. I've said it before and I'll say it here again - I like the Q C Mart by my home in Bettendorf and I've enjoyed the others I've visited in the past. This Q C Mart ended up being no different than the majority of the others I've happened by. There's a few shelves of snacks, a Harvest Ridge Coffee station, coolers with various beverages within, and lotto tickets and other impulse purchases at the front counter. Standard stuff for Q C Marts and most other convenience stores. The general appearance tells the story of a place that had a life prior to being a Q C Mart, as well. The floors are covered by that tan patterned tiles ubiquitous to office buildings, grocery stores, shops, and any other number of places throughout the 70s and 80s. The ceiling is covered by a clean 2 x 4 foot drop ceiling with exposed florescent lights. None of this looks new or recently redone in the past 10-15 years, but it's all clean looking. I got my Gatorade Zero and gardettos and went to pay at the register. The attendant rang me up and was nice throughout our interaction. All told, I think I was in the shop 5 minutes between entry, paying, and leaving. The other major feature of this location that's unique from most of the others is the video slots room. I stopped through to use the restroom, but otherwise didn't linger. This is one aspect of Illinois that I really despise - the presence of these slots at any restaurant, convenience store, or other location is just weird looking and, in my opinion, kind of out of place. I hope Illinois figures out how to have dedicated casinos at some point and get rid of this nonsense. If I happened to be in Milan again for some reason, I'd be happy to stop here again. "Two separate occasions I could not find a worker, even after looking around the entire gas station and today I was old I could not get the gas pump to work because I “don’t know how to follow directions”. The worker was extremely rude."

"If the place was on fire I wouldn't piss on them to put it out. The clerk, Michelle got an attitude with me because she couldn't run the lottery machine and I told her forget it. Then she told me she didn't like my attitude and refused me service. When I told her she was breaking my heart, she had a hissy fit-lmao!"
