"Did an online rental of many excavator June 1st. Paid for it online lady called from local branch and said they didn't have that unit they would have to substitute. I said okay I can take a smaller one that's fine. She said okay she'd make the adjustment. It went from 800 and something dollars to $1,686. Notice that immediately called them immediately still have yet to get my money back because someone didn't transfer something somewhere somehow. Got double charged and won't have my money for 5 days later. Which in turn has cost me the job that I was on at because I didn't have the money for the material for the machine I needed I had the material no machine. Then cost me 3 days of wages because I'm waiting for the $1,700 to be put back in the account. By the way I was on vacation I left early one day early to do this because they did not follow up on their end. Normally if you rent something or you buy something online and the merchant website that you do it and then they call you and tell you they have to substitute they normally don't charge you something more $400 more to substitute. In business if you make the mistake you eat the mistake. Use them many times Ms Lily at the front desk or whatever needs some training."

"Very professional. Have used this company many times. Equipment issues have been taken care of quick. Billing issues more demanding due to misunderstandings. be sure everyone is on the same page."

"Terrible experience, rented backhoe for a week. Unit began leaking hydraulic fluid on Friday at 9am after 20 minutes of use. Took six hours for someone to come out and repair. Used backhoe for another 3 hours and hydraulic fluid began leaking again. Called Tech and was told that "I would be charged out the butt for a weekend repair", once Tech arrived and realized it was the equipment he apologized several times. Tech advised he couldn't fix it and it would take weeks to repair. I helped the Tech to get the backhoe ready for pickup. Backhoe was picked up Monday and I never received a phone call again. The following Thursday while still waiting for a phone call I was charged the full amount on my credit card. I called (Friday)United Rentals and was told that the Service Manager had said I was done with the backhoe. I told them I wasn't done with backhoe I had only used it for 3 hours plus, they then advised they would deliver the backhoe if I would give them another credit card number. I refused to give them a card. Terrible communications with company would not recommend. Very expensive 3 hour use of backhoe, I don't know what I could have done different, very frustrating."

"I not only looked at the inventory available but I took classes on forklift and scissor lift usage and also a class on fall protection. The courses were taught by Tim O'Donnell and he did a marvelous job. I would recommend this training to anyone using forklift or scissor lift or if you climb using a body harness."
