"I have received alerts for three fires in my area this afternoon. When I checked the Ventura fire website, there was no information about any of those fires nor was there a link for information on active fires in the Ventura area. That is a serious problem that could have terrible repercussions."

"I got a flat tire in a field area at Vineyard and left out my cellphone at home. I was walking meters away to and from for a phone / help but it was futile when homeward cars sped in the late darkening evening. My ordeal ceased when a heaven-sent Fireman in his SUV over passed, then backed up to help me get calls until I eventually got home safely with my car towed. I just thought - If people would be as caring , and helping beyond their scope of duties like Mr. Todd Leake ( my car was not burning in some accident) , the world would have been in Peace at all times. I bow to my angel-sir Todd leake!"
