"Love this place. The best carne asada in town"
"I had buy before here and meat usually is fine. However, I had buy honeycomb tripe and I thought maybe the last time was too old but happen more than one time. The tripe was hard and it took about four hours to cook when I buy tripe to make menudo in Food 4 less usually take 1.5 hrs to cook. The tripe look too old but the person told me that it was good. I will not buy tripe here anymore."
"UPDATE: 9/24/2022 We’ve been customers of La Venadita for many years, As my old review posted below, I had to update a new review because of what we experienced yesterday, We bought chicken legs, Ceviche and jaiva. It was all bad, we are only 10 minute drive from the market to our house, I open the bag of meat right away to clean it, to cook it, it smelled so bad it made me want to throw up, very gross, I’m sure the butcher smelled the meat when he put it in the bag, the ceviche and jaiva were also bad, we called them right away to let them know, we just were left grossed from this, we couldn’t think of going back to buy anything from here. After the many years, this being our best place for the meat. We will no longer buy or ever go back. This could of gotten all of us very sick. They need to be more careful. When we lived in Torrance, we waited in long lines at the only Venadita Market then. Moving to Norwalk and having a market close by, is the best. There's no Big or small meat market has the quality of the Carne Asada they do! simply the Very BEST!! The Ceviche is the best also , haven't found another that compares.. Great Tasting Meat and Ceviche"
"Great meat market! Staff was really nice and the store was clean and the produce was beautiful as if was right out the field. Meat was perfectly sliced and was from what it appeared, presentable! Highly recommend this meat market..My dinner was delicious!!"
