"I stayed at the uptown suites for a couple days the rooms are very nice and convenient, the housekeeping on the other hand is very horrible I didn’t catch her name Caucasian female with dirty blonde hair just looked very unhappy and unhealthy in her own skin she was very Nosey and when I say very I’m rather reserved and she was making very difficult because of the way I looked she got me blocked kept coming to my door whenever the owner wasn’t around then told vicious lies on me when I wasn’t there to at least try to defend myself just saying if you do go watch out."
"This was actually very nice outside of my expected belief. I'm glad I was placed in the situation to stay there. It was very well worth it and for me to say I will stay again. Means a lot. Staff the room and location was amazing. I 5 star this Especially for the price."
"Tried to reserve an extra night this morning. Front office lady was nowhere to be found I've called several times over the course of the day no answer. Was told that the lady wasnt around this morning before i left for work so my fiance was going to try to pay. But the office person was never there. Im now worried my belongings will not be in my room"
"It was the worst experience of any hotel ever stayed in in St Pete over 7-year period. I've paid money to the front desk and there is thieves stealing money off the front desk register. They can't keep their balances right for what's paid It's been the worst hotel experience I've ever had my life. Don't ever stay at Empress Hotel. no tell motel. One of their employees actually went to jail and they acted like it didn't even happen and they're still charging people full amount like nothing was stolen. Con artists"
"It's okay. I would have given this place three or even a four stars but the woman at the front desk seems to be trying be make us as uncomfortable as possible by starring at my boyfriend and I. He's white and I'm black I guess in india it's acceptable to be so blatantly rude to paying customers Room had a broken (drug) pipe in it. The pool looks pretty clean but our tub had a cigarette but in it. She should pay more attention to her job rather than the people paying."
