Located at 8054 Bishop Harbor Road, this stunning park invites you to explore its breathtaking landscapes from 8 a.m. until sunset. Whether you're a nature enthusiast or just seeking a peaceful escape, Terra Ceia Preserve offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty of Florida's diverse ecosystems.
Spanning 2,000 acres, the preserve is a sanctuary of mangrove forests, freshwater and saltwater wetlands, and upland communities. As you traverse the hiking trail located at the very north end of Hightower Road, you'll witness the ongoing habitat restoration efforts aimed at returning former agricultural lands to their natural, ecologically rich state.
For those interested in aquatic adventures, our boat ramp is open 24/7 at the end of Moccasin Wallow Road, providing easy access to the surrounding waterways. Please note that park trails are open to foot traffic only, ensuring a serene and undisturbed experience for all visitors. We kindly ask that you do not block the park gates.

"From this spot you can park at the gate and walk in. There are trails wide enough to drive a vehicle down but the gate won't permit it. It's quiet here the trail loops around close to the river you can get a couple of spots where you can go up to the water. We saw a big turtle. Kayaking is available here and there's a place to launch alongside the road little to the east of where the gate is. There's no charge to get in here."
