"This is a nice place to stop and drink coffee and a sandwich. I enjoy the old trees and wildlife. Birds and squirrels. This is a quiet place. People keep to their selves has been my impression. It is okay. Still it is nice to smile, wave and say, Hi."

"This is a great little Park with swing sets and monkey bars that are great for you're younger children. It's directly across from the historical society which includes th original Schoolhouse plus post office Carnegie Library theAg Center. Make sure you check it out. The City of Palmetto also does movie night one night a month what a great place to take the family and just have quality entertainment"

"It's a beautiful park with lots of shady old oaks, a tennis court, basketball court and a few picnic tables. Unfortunately, the homeless use this park too, and sometimes there are lots of them. I visited the other day tho and was quite surprised nobody was there. Sutton park is right across the street, with a playground and amphitheater and nice restrooms. The whole area is very historical for driving around and checking out the older homes. There is the Manatee Historical park on the corner across from the library. Great place to visit!"
