"Emerson Point Preserve is located where the Manatee River meets Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. Beautiful boardwalks, lookout tower and trails. Some very unique tropical trees and vegetation including Gumbo Limbo trees."

"This was our first visit but it won't be the last. The trails were well groomed except for the beach trail, but the beach trail was super interesting. We saw lots of different tree formations and wildlife. We were especially pleased to see a bird of prey that had caught something."

"Not been here for a long time so thought we'd go here for some walking. Free entry and nice restrooms if you park at the main section (only rubbish portaloos by the beach walk) Really nice walking trails with great scenery and definitely worth a visit if you're in the area."

"Lots of shady trails with a nice breeze. Great walking on a hot day. Picnic tables, canoe launches, a small beach and great water views."

"I spent less time here than I'd wanted to due to rain and an uncooperative dog but planning on a return visit soon. Of what did experience this is a beautiful Preserve to wander."
