"TtDaughter had spinal surgery and all went well. Excellent staff. All introduced themselves before surgery was done. Asked for questions. Staff pleasant and professional. Good respect and communication with family. Double checked her identity and what was to be done often. Double checked compatability of medications. Good monitoring of pain. The hospital did something I hadn't seen before. They had a secure online "pathway" for the patient and support team (parents, spouse, friend, etc.) to follow. The pathway began well before surgery. The steps were short, clear and concise sections of information sent weekly or more often on FAQs and things the patient needed to know and do before and after surgery. .After the patient read or did, they checked it off. The support team and doctor could follow along and give support when needed as well as be educated. It includes a library if more information is wanted. The pathway continues well after surgery and going home. Very helpful. Good experience."
