"Made an appt with this doctor in Deland for 7-17-23 after being admitted to Advent Health in orange city on 7-13-23 for a ministroke. I got to the office 30 minutes prior to my appointment. The office manager told the woman checking us in that our appointment was being cancelled because I tested positive for Coronavirus at Advent Health hospital. After calling on numerous occasions trying to get somebody on the phone I got the phone receptionist on the phone I asked if we could do a telehealth visit and was told it was not possible. I was told the doctor had a family member having surgery soon so she would not see me due to health concerns for her mother which I understand. Getting information was like pulling teeth. I do not recommend using this doctor within the Adventhealth network. The advertising on her website about telehealth is not correct."
