"The wonderful and professional administrative (Sue Wise), nursing (Sandee) and all the caregivers (Missy, Karen, Viola, Chinata and others) have supported my sister-in-law and brother-in-law as their care needs increase. They now require 24 hr. care with the addition of couples care. Sandee, our care coordinator, has made all the many schedule changes quickly and worked hard to tailor the schedule to their very specific routines. The caregivers are experienced geriatric professionals, they are kind and understanding as they assist my 90 and 93 year old family members with their daily care and rehab. They have become part of our family. I have known and worked with Sue Wise for the past 15-20 years in my role as an RN healthcare educator. I have suggested Take care to many neighbors and friends in the past, this is our first experience as clients and we are not disappointed. "The services and personnel of Take Care in home health care have been invaluable to our family. From the beginning of our experience to the end, we received personal attention from Take Care for the needs of our aunt. It is difficult to navigate a loved ones sudden, declining health, and in our case, from long distance. We had confidence that her care and safety was the priority of Take Care. Our aunt's wishes and her home were respected at all times. Sue Wise met with our aunt to initially explain their services and give her reassurance of what could be expected. Take Care nursing supervisor Gloria communicated with the family from the release of our aunt from the rehabilitation facility through every step of our often-changing situation. All of the aids took excellent care of our aunt. But a special recognition is needed for Augustine who cared for our aunt for the duration. Augustine not only went above and beyond in her care, but she provided emotional comfort that was exemplary. At the end of her life, their skilled nurses provided twenty-four hour care. I especially appreciated that several of them had been prior employees of a local hospice company. Their input and guidance of what to expect gave me great comfort and peace. It afforded us the opportunity to fulfil her wish of living in her home through the end of her life. This could not have been possible without Take Care.
