"I tried this studio a few years ago and, although it is a beautiful space, I was not a fan. I felt like the class didn't match the description on their website. It felt like someone brand new to yoga put together their first class to teach. I really wanted this studio to work out because it's way closer to my house. Since it had been a few years, I thought maybe it had improved. Sadly, it has not. The class description did not match the actual class, yet again. The description said, "intermediate level and will be introduced to some advanced level poses." Unfortunately, it was one of the most beginner classes I've ever taken. The only standing we even did was mountain pose and for a class that is called, "flow" there wasn't any. It was very frustrating and disappointing. And after taking it the second time I realized it was the same instructor as the previous class years ago. After the class I got a text to my phone asking what I would rate the studio/class and why. I sent the above review (which I had not posted anywhere else yet). After doing so, the owner, Kelly, emailed me a defensive, unprofessional email and accused me of “just being mean”. Had it not been for the way that she spoke to me, I would have only given the honest feedback/constructive criticism to whatever text I received asking for a review. I should have taken the reviews that specifically mentioned her on Yelp more seriously. I definitely won’t be recommending this class/studio. Yoga is supposed to be a loving practice, the owner of all people should operate her business and interactions with clients that way."
