American Sports Karate

"Daycare with karate being a secondary afterthought. This business is a primary daycare after school program for a local public school. They pick up a bunch of kids on a van and bring them in a small, no-window-cave where they do homework and wait for their parents to pick them up. Karate lessons are short, 30 min class, which being continuosly interrupted by the late comers. No discipline practiced here. The place itself smells like chlorine and the waiting room it’s always hot. The business is not well organized. The schedule is being changed in the middle of the school year, which for my child with a number of other activities, was unacceptable. The prices are high for what they offer. Eventually I transferred my child to another program, but the policy of this establishment is a year contract! They shamelessly continued charging my debit card month after month after my cancellation, were not nice and not cooperative. This is certainly not a place i’d recommend. After doing a little bit research, there are so many other great marshal art programs in town. I transferrd my child to Tiger rock and the difference is drastic!"

"This is one of the best karate schools in Naples. Great kids program. Adults program is equally as good. They even offer a JuJitsu program for adults on Tuesday and Thursday evenings."

My whole family has been training with them for almost 5 years and I can’t say enough about the quality of the instruction and positive learning environment at American Sports Karate. It is my son’s 5th year as a member of the ASK national competition team so we have witnessed firsthand that Sensei Eric Masino is well respected in the Martial Arts community not just in this state but across the country as well."

"My two sons have been members at the dojo for nearly a year. They have grown, learned, and have become more self disciplined. I feel the dojo is a wonderful and positive experience, where a child can develop self confidence, self control and stay physically active. It is rewarding and a lot of fun! My son with Apraxia has benefited greatly, Sensei Masino has been patient and diligent with him. Both locations are top notch. The dojo is always clean and easy for parents to view their children."
