"My husband, Virgil, started Rock Steady Boxing with Erick in March of 2019 and has followed him ever since. From day one Erick has been calling Virgil "Face" and that nickname has stuck with him to this day. "Face" was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in May of 2017. Erick is very aware of his capabilities (at the young age of 83) and has a way of getting the most out of him.
