We are excited to introduce Desiree, a licensed clinical social worker in Florida and California since 2023. With her extensive background in hospital and medical social work, Desiree specializes in helping individuals navigate life transitions, including those dealing with mild to moderate depression, anxiety, and substance use issues. Her empathetic, harm-reduction approach and interest in alternative therapies make her a valuable addition to our team. Recently certified as a dementia practitioner, she offers specialized support to caregivers managing dementia care.

Desiree emphasizes a person-centered, humanistic approach in therapy, fostering collaboration and empowerment in a safe, validating environment. She is committed to addressing the impact of systemic oppression on mental health and is LGBTQ friendly, providing sensitive care to marginalized communities.
