The time Dr. Carmack took to educate me about the procedure and to be available to prepare me for the surgery and manage my after care was truly above and beyond. "A great staff backs up a very conscientious doctor. I was a longtime patient for my regular eye exams and always loved his office staff. Looking back I am glad he mentioned a few years ago he saw a cataract developing. He said it would be a decade before it would be a problem.so when I noticed a film over my left eye I thought it best to get an appt ASAP He discovered I had a cataract rapidly developing at a fairly young age (57). I was a bit freaked out but he and his staff did such a nice job making me see that it would be an easy surgery (it was) and that in the end I would have perfect vision without glasses anymore (I did!). They all did such a nice job of explaining things thoroughly and I appreciated how much time Dr Carmack took to be extra careful about measurements and getting things just right. He is super careful and triple checks very step he takes. With such a delicate area I’m happy to have someone take extra time to get everything tight."
