Welcome to the Center for Health Equity, a vibrant community hub located at 2333 34th Street South, St. Petersburg, Florida. As a proud part of the Foundation for a Healthy St. Petersburg, we are committed to fostering health and racial equity in our city. Our mission is to bring together individuals from diverse backgrounds, offering them a unique space to learn, connect, and create in pursuit of a more equitable future.
At the Center for Health Equity, we recognize that the health of our community is intricately linked to systemic challenges. "I was at the Center for Health Equity today and this was my experience. I walked in with a mask on and said hello to the greeter at the door. He couldn’t bother to acknowledge me and just looked at me with a glare. The lady at registration was very nice and expedient. The health care provider who swabbed me was so sweet. I hope a supervisor observes the greeter after reading this because that’s a terrible first impression for other members of our community to have when they walk into a place whose vision is positive change in our community."
"Highly organized and well-run COVID vaccination center. Was able to get an appointment online in 10 minutes for a couple of days away. People are very nice, even though you can tell they have read/asked the same questions thousands of times. Well done. TIP: turn just past the Lakeview Shopping Center sign heading south on 34th. If you miss the turn, you will have to drive around the block due to the police closures which control the parking lot."
