Amidon Nurse Staffing Tampa Bay

"I have been employed with amidon for about 7-8years but I just recently started picking up shifts with them again. It’s very hard to get in touch with them. They never answer the phone, and when you text them you may or may not get a response either. Payroll is just as hard if not harder to reach and you can only do so through email. I’ve had to resort to calling the Jacksonville office in order to talk to someone because they are the only ones who answer the phone. On top of not being able to reach anyone it is super hard to get paid CORRECTLY. It could be weeks or months before you get your money. I understand that sometimes they could be busy but when I am calling, texting, and emailing and still not getting any is resolve; that isn’t right. I am disappointed, because when I first started working for them I NEVER had any problems and they were always responsive. Update 5/1/24 I have now not been paid 3 canceled shifts, and payroll under paid me for 3/5 shifts I just worked. I haven’t gotten any resolve, so I called the owner Elli Schich thinking he would be more than happy to help. I’m still in shock from how unprofessional and rude he was. He started getting annoyed with my concerns and became completely dismissive. He laughed at all my concerns and told me he doesn’t have control over how HIS company handles there clinician’s or payroll. To top it off he told me he was ok with his company being ran this way and if I don’t like it to go somewhere else; which is the only helpful thing he said. As for the money I’m owed Elli said he can’t guarantee when I’ll get paid or even if I will get paid. I’ve never had these type of issues with any agency I’ve worked for except this. This company does not care about their clinicians! I encourage anyone who works for them to check your paystubs faithfully, because they will short you; if you don’t notice your pay is wrong they will keep your money. Stay vigilant and advocate for yourself always. Good luck if you decide to sign up for this company, it’s not worth the headache."

"Joined Amidon last month and they been giving me 30-40 hours solid per week at good rates $36,$38/hr. Im a LPN so that is good pay in my opinion. Plenty of available shifts to choose form in Tampa and St.pete. They have less cancels than Gale for sure and I like that its a live human available to help when you need. Definitely book ahead cus it seems like shifts fill up faster here versus other boards"
