"Cute beach. Lots of dolphins to see. Rip currents, sharp shells, algae everywhere, warm water. Good place to launch a boat. Pavillions available."

"A very beautiful little park and beach. Very clean! We got there at 4 o’clock on a Friday afternoon, and we waited until the sunset. The sunset was beautiful! There aren’t many waves at this beach, and that is the only negative that our kids had. There’s a very cute little ice cream/hamburger stand. We did not try at this time as we brought all of our food. But in the future when we return, we will definitely be trying out the food. There is limited parking, and I imagine that on weekends it’s very full. We went around 4 PM on a Friday, and found parking, and there was no charge for parking at that point."

"What a gorgeous beach! The parking lot is a little small. It’s $5 a car load. There’s a concession stand that sells food, drinks, snacks & ice cream. Bathrooms close by that are very clean. Changing rooms and a water sprayer to rinse the sand off you. If you have a kayak, there’s a launch area to walk down kayaks or canoes. The workers even clean the seaweed off the beach. This is a bay side beach, the water will not get too high or you have to walk out quite far. Sometimes there are slight waves from the boaters. This is a very kid friendly beach and area for kids to play at the beach. I believe there’s a playground also!"

"Apparently, the beach is closed. Wish I would have known this because there is really nowhere else to park except on the side of the road and the next closest beach isn't very close. Thankfully it has been updated on Google Maps and now says "temporarily closed" but when I booked my hotel to stay in this area, this information was not available. Just be sure this place is open before you make the trip."
