"If I could give ZERO stars I would. Massena Electric will shut your electric off after 2 months back payments on a 93 degree day while waiting to hear back from HEAP. Only a 5 day notice was all that was given and they chose the hottest day of the week to shut off a single mother’s electricity. Terrible phone customer service, they WILL HANG UP ON YOU. No call prior to shut off to allow resident to make a payment, or work with them. Their call payment barely works, not registering the 1 as English. Their website continues to worsen and become less user friendly and they continue to increase the charge to pay via website. All over terrible customer experience. Solar panels or not living in the Massena Electric zone would be highly recommended."
"Terrible customer service, everytime I have a question I get attitude. I swear they just love to rob the community they base your electric fees off from the previous year even of its not your fees. So you essentially pay for usage rates that aren't yours."

"Honestly if I can give them less than 1 star I would. My kitchen outlets were perfect before moving in. They came in with inexperienced people and installed the outlet wrong which affected all of the outlets in my kitchen. My stove cannot turn on. I understand every review out there has their fair share of negative reviews. But with my heart and soul, please stay away from this company"
"Massena Electric's maintenance folks rock! This morning they were changing out transformer parts along SH 131. A very polite member of the team informed me before hand that our power would be out for about 15 minutes. Well, it was only about 5. Really appreciate their professionalism"
