"This branch is horrible. The staff is very used to dealing with business customers and not actual people. If you're already an M&T customer, do yourself a massive favor and visit either of the branches in Smithtown instead. If you're looking to begin a banking relationship, go ANYWHERE else."
"Stopped at this branch when I was running errands, my mistake! The new girl opened my personal CD and put my original papers in my folder instead of filling it. Simple mistake, until she and her co-worker called my office, then my husband, who was out of state on business. (Glad it wasn't a secret) Several messages demanded that it was URGENT I contacted the bank immediately to all. Embarrassing! I called to speak to the branch manager who didn't state her name and talked over me saying her employee cried in her office over her mistake. What does that have to do with me? Meanwhile, I had already emailed the paper to her and no one even checked! Disgraceful customer service. I will be banking elsewhere."
