Reviews
"I was reluctant to post this because I never give negative reviews, but unfortunately this gym is a major disappointment. Impossible to get someone on the phone. Front desk staff is incredibly unfriendly. As a woman, I did not feel comfortable here. Lots of men making really inappropriate jokes and giving creepy stares. The machines are in awful shape—super rusty and many are broken. The locker rooms are honestly disgusting, go see for yourself. The only plus is that it’s a 24 hour gym. They try to advertise as if it’s a low cost gym, but when you total up the weekly charges and annual fees, it’s really not. There’s a lot of other gyms in the surrounding area that have way more equipment, far cleaner, and much more welcoming environment with actual humans who provide real customer service."
"THIS IS WHAT YOU CALL A GYM! I’ll recommend to anyone. Everyone is very respectful & down to earth."
"6 months was already too many for me… this gym is a joke. All of their equipment is budget and different mismatched brands. The dumbbells are in metric units of kg instead of pounds, leading to extremely frustrating workout routines. Plus, they’re full of made up charges and fees. They might get you on the ‘$7 per week’ rate, but they charge you almost $70 as an annual fee and then $60 to cancel (averages out to over $40 per month in membership). The cancellation fee is not fully outlined in the legal contract and the owner would rather argue with you like a toddler than be a professional."
"Brutally honest review of this gym as someone who has been coming here for the better part of 18 months — I absolutely love this place, however, there are a few problems I have with it. The positives: - A lot of readily available gym equipment, regardless of the time I’m there. Even if all I’m there for is basic cardio, generally speaking, the wait times are almost nonexistent. - The staff I’ve spoken with and have interacted with, including the front desk, has been nothing short of excellent. I’ve even witnessed staff helping the handicapped and the elderly get to certain workout machines in order to help make it easier for them to move around the gym. - Gym floors are constantly being cleaned, even as you’re working out, to ensure a clean environment for all attendees. - Bathrooms are regularly cleaned, hand soap always available, and gym equipment is regularly sanitized by employees if they notice someone who recently finished a workout didn’t clean their station themselves. The negatives: - a few pieces of gym equipment are rusted, although it does seem to appear that they are replacing certain things. Recently I noticed they changed the leather on the bicep curl machine, and no exposed foam on the chest rest was visible, which is great. That being said, it still leaves behind the fact that many machines do deal with rust, and some even aren’t labeled. This might make it difficult for newer users of said machines to know how to properly use a machine, and without proper names, they can’t even look up how to properly and safely perform the exercise. Get those labels! - a few treadmills have broken over the last few months, and I’m unsure if they’re attempting to fix it or not, but have seen the same OUT OF ORDER sign on two treadmills for at least a month or two now. This has cut down on readily available gym equipment, which sucks but there are still other things like the ellipticals which are available. Although some are missing the phone stands, which while inconvenient, isn’t the end of the world. - Lastly, while this isn’t an issue with the gym itself, it does warrant a comment: I stopped going to the gym in the mornings because of the crowd that seems to be there throughout the first few hours of the morning. Generally a group of 7-9 older gentleman who say some pretty grotesque things. Constantly saying things after women walk by, sexualizing them in some form. A few wear their political opinions on their clothing, which is fine, but it becomes problematic when they discuss those politics loudly with some rather colorful language. A few times I’ve heard racial remarks used, and while this isn’t a knock on the gym itself, it is interesting to note that the gym doesn’t seem to mind this crowd roaming around in the mornings. All in all, this is merely the morning crowd, and they tend to disperse around 10 AM. For the sake of restraining myself from complaining about these men, I’ve decided to simply work out in the afternoons, when the crowd is not there, and I can simply workout in peace without having to hear said crowd. All in all, I’m giving it five stars regardless, as I know this gym is actively listening to feedback from their members and trying to ensure a safe workout environment for any and all."
"I’ve been coming here for two years and have enjoyed my experience. Solid gym with workout equipment that some, more traditional gyms do not have available which helps keep my workouts fresh! Being able to come whenever I have time is awesome since my work schedule is varied! Mike and the team are awesome, a great place to workout, but also a great community to be a part of!"
