"I used to defend this man. People would LAUGH OUT LOUD when I'd share who my primary care physician is. I no longer defend this practice; it has earned its reputation. Last week, when I asked for a routine work physical for a new position, I was told "the doctor cannot perform work physicals" because there's no money to be made and insurance won't pay for them. I was pushed away to Mountain Medical. Burnett's office has performed work physicals for me before, and even a physical to become a Foster Parent. Within a couple days, I received a letter DISMISSING ME AS A PATIENT because I allegedly asked the doctor to commit fraud by performing a work physical without an evaluation. I was more than happy to come in for an appointment, and was practically begging for one, so I could just get my new-hire requirements over with. I was also willing to pay for the physical myself, as I know my insurance would not cover a work physical. They refused to serve me, they refused to let me view my own records, and they refused to even look at the form I needed completed. Why would I want to go to another office for a work physical and have to retell all of my health information to another provider? My new employer stated they would accept a copy of my last physical, as long as it was within 12 months. They wouldn't provide that either (even though I've had one), so I had to go pay for another one. I'm not angry, just disappointed. All of this over a one-page form, stating I have no communicable diseases or work restrictions."

"Extremely good, caring and helpful doctor. He went out of his way to get me in when he wasn't excepting new patients. He has a great personality and he listens to what I got to say. I couldn't be happier with a primary care doctor. I been seeing him for around a year now and he is the same good guy as my first visit. Also the staff are very good too, willing to help beyond what they got to."

"Such a true genuine and caring doctor. He listens to your needs and goes beyond what he has to to help you. I lost my son in April and he and his staff have been there for me through all this pain and suffering. Dr. Burnett even after hours made sure I got my medicine and gave me his personal cell number in case I needed anything when office is closed. He just wants the best for people and people to do their best. He helps me to wanna do good so my son is proud of me."
