"Leaving a review b/c I was ask to in order to boost her ratings. As a patient I did not feel comfortable with Dr. Katapadi in fact it was rushed & I didn’t feel heard. Dr. Katapadi took my appointment time to discuss my employment with her instead. Blood was drawn by Dr. Katapadi & ended up with a hematoma for 2 weeks (NEVER HAS THAT HAPPENED TO ME). As her RMA during my externship, I was asked to clean her bathroom & office after she threw a personal party over the weekend IN THE OFFICE, I’m asked to water her plants, go pharmacy to pharmacy to promote her office, EVERY piece of equipment is ancient and therefore SLOW which impedes anyones ability to actually work efficiently. To all her future and current patients, you can request your lab results through your lab (Lenco or Quest) she has the MA’s call patients to come discuss their results and 99% of the time there’s no need for discussion; she just wants to collect the office visit fee from your insurance. I also want to reiterate to all her patients that you don’t HAVE to have your blood drawn if you don’t want to. Do not allow her to belittle you by calling you a big baby as she’s tying the tourniquet & basically forcing you to take blood in her office rather than at the lab. I would also demand she wear gloves when she takes blood as many patients have complained to me that they feel uncomfortable about that. Catherine is amazing, wishing her the best on her future endeavors with fair pay and respect."
