"I always thought machine run car washes weren't good. But spiffy showed me otherwise. Every service from the most basic to the most extreme includes free vacuuming and an assortment of detailing supplies to get your car clean and shiny in a fraction of the time. Whether you want to tackle it alone or have someone do it for you."

"Well, I usually do not write reviews of any kind, but, I have to on this place. I recently joined Spiffy Car Wash because my previous place was no longer convenient for me as it is too far out of my way. The first 3 months were just ok. That towel dryer they have as you exit ia a joke as the whole back of my SUV is barely and I mean barely touched leaving me to have to get out to dry it myself. I get that these machines are far from perfect but this one’s really bad. OK so I can move past that. My main problem is I used my debit card to sign up. The first 2 months it went through no problem. In the 3rd month when I went for a wash, it said my card was declined/expired. I was baffled but swiped the same exact debit card since it doesn’t expire until 2029 with plenty of money to cover and it went through without a problem. The following month I receive a text stating my card is declined again. I called my bank to see what the issue was thinking it was on their end. They said the card was going through as expired. Now mind you I use this card at many other retailers and have NO issues. I called Spiffy Car Wash to discuss the issue at hand. No one answered so I left a message. I received a TEXT back stating maybe I should use a credit card… ummm NO so I called and said I want to physically speak with someone as I’m not going to use a credit card. A nice woman called me back (I forgot her name). I explained the situation to her in detail. She manually put my card through and it successfully went through. Now, the following month I get another text saying my card is declined/expired. I called Spiffy back to see what else we could do and I never received a return phone call. Now I give up, I will no longer be using Spiffy Car Wash as I am not going to deal with this every month and I should NOT have to use a credit card just for this place. This is ridiculous. I will now go out of my way back to my previous place and use the same debit card that I always use and not have any problems."

"My first time there and it was THE worst experience I ever had a with a car wash, possibly with any service business. There are no clear indicators of where to go, where to pay & signs that mislead one into thinking full washes include vacuuming the inside of your car. Not. There is a touch screen that is nearly impossible to use, more like a “bang your fingers on the plastic” screen. No one, and I mean no one, helped direct where my car should go. I got admonished for stepping out of my car as I usually do while the car goes through the wash. I was told to stay in my car. The wash was aggressive and the nonsense lights stating they are applying my wheel application literally could be satire. After waiting for the red light to turn green, I was left with my car facing the driveway out. I knew I paid for vacuuming and interior, but didn’t know where to go. Someone with a Walkie talkie about 50 feet away was talking and waving. Finally I figured out he was waving at me. I drove over and he indicated to me as if he were directing a Delta 727 airplane to pull into one of 12 empty spots. When I did, he yelled out “No!! You’re back here!” I deciphered that he wanted me to back in, which I then did. As he dried my car off I went into what I thought was the retail office where usually at a car wash you could buy air fresheners, etc, looking for an ATM so I could properly tip. What I walked into looked like an abandoned cabin from the movie “Evil Dead.” No light, no people, there was a broken ATM & dark silence. No sign on the outside door indicating do not enter. I walked out & over to my car to see if I could put together a few dollars for a tip, when the worker said to me as he wiped my door, “You need money?” Yes, I answered, “No ATM, huh?” He then said to “Go to the man there” and pointed to a darkened booth at the front entrance of the car wash. I walked over & could not see anyone in this gas station-type booth. The windows were darkened nearly black. I walked up to the what I believed was the front, as it had a silver money drawer, but then I heard someone say “Around!” It was a guy peeking out from a door on the other side of the booth. Here is the exchange: “You need money?” “Yes. I want to tip my guy.” “You use for tip?” “Yes, I want to tip.” “For tip,” he said as he took my card. “How much?” “Twenty dollars. Two tens, please.” I figured I would tip $10 & keep a $10 in my pocket, since I rarely have cash on me. He pulls out a wad of bills, and I mean a WAD, (but whatever, not pertinent to the review) and peels off, very meticulously, 2 ten dollar bills. I say thank you, he gives me my card back and I take myself back to the car.The car was done within minutes of my return & I walked over to the service man, said thank you and handed him the $10. I did noticed he looked down at it in his hand, but I really didn’t think twice until I was stopped by the man in the booth as I was leaving. He was on his Walkie-talkie and yelling at me, “You said for tip! For tip!” I said, “Uh, what? Yeah, I tipped.” “No! Only half!! No ATM! This no ATM.” I told him, I gave him $10, which I thought was a decent tip and I needed the other $10 for myself. Never intending to give a $20 tip “No! No! You said for tip.” Now at this point I over hear the Walkie-Talkie. “No $20. She only gave me $10.” Now, Booth guy starts waving service guy over toward us. BTW, I’m a 5 foot tall older woman and now I have two fully grown men hovering over me telling me to give over the other $10. I felt as if I was being shaken down, which in a way was totally accurate. I did hand over the other $10, fully knowing they had gotten over on me. No one explained anything to me, I was clearly verbally man-handled into giving a tip that was more than half of what the car wash cost me. Live and Learn or if you’re reading this, Read and Learn. This place in Commack off Jericho, by McDonalds is at best, customer service at rock bottom & at worst, a complete shamble of a “business” that feels as though is run by a gang of hoodlums. Horrible experience, the worst."

"Pricing has gone up so much for full service car washes but this one gives you the best value. I have a full service unlimited plan and it is fantastic, they supply everything you need to have your car looking like new!"
