"It is hard to imagine how badly this store could botch a simple delivery of a package. My daughter came home for a family funeral last week, she was driven home by a family member and, upon returning back to her home in Connecticut, realized that she had left her car keys behind. We took the keys to this UPS store to ship next day delivery so that she could get to work on Monday morning. Crisis averted, right? WRONG! The package never showed up this morning, so I called the store and it turns out that the agent at the store typed the address into the computer with the apartment number on the 1st line and the street address on the 2nd line. The manager at the store denied any responsibility (and told me they are not affiliated with UPS!) and tried to hide the fact that they had made an error, but my husband has been on the phone now with UPS for over an hour trying to get the package, and they stated it was ABSOLUTELY 100% the address error that delayed the package. Now I get to drive up from Long Island to Connecticut tonight to bring her the spare key, because her key is still in the local facility due to this error. I will be adding up all of my expenses and will see these folks in small claims court. Go to Northport or Smithtown! Much better service."

"Unfortunate learning experience in shipping a $2500 Tuba and paid to have UPS package hoping their "expertise" will get the job done. After spending $480 to ship - never asked value, was never asked if i required signature, was never asked about insurance...then it was first delivered to the wrong address and finally arrived in a completely demolished box and needless to say the worst packing job ever. After waiting on hold for 1 1/2 with customer service and a manager who was never available I offered to pay recipient for damages. Filing a claim is a complete joke - I would like to be refunded for the $$ I laid out for shipping because of the damages done in transit. UPS IS USELESS Lesson learned I will never use UPS to ship again!!"
