"Nothing but a bunch of thieves! Living in one of the most expensive county and living on a check by check and they don’t give a ticket of 100 dollars, a parking ticket of $375. Reasons why people go through so much here."

"Biggest scammer/business, they would actually wait for me to go inside my house to give me a ticket after a ticket for my just registered truck saying it wasn’t inspected when I had my temporary inspection on my windshield"

"I get it, write parking tickets for signs or meters, whatever. But after going to dinner and finding a tag for $100 on my car, I’ll take my business elsewhere...fines are way too steep."

"Left unregistered car on the street by my 80 year old father. Same day town put a Abondan ticket and tow it away. FEES AFTER FEES - No warning - truely a scam. Give the person a ticket and leave a 48 hr warning to move it, OR tow it and not give tickets on top of the tow ans impoubd fees."

"This department just does not see how it hurts the businesses in town. There is very limited parking, signs everywhere and the people that patrol the streets enjoy their job. I just got a ticket for not sticking my registration sticker to the window, I placed on the dash and got a ticket for FAIL TO AFFIX A CURRENT VALID NYS REGISTRATION. I tried to talk to the guy and he did not want to hear it so I figure I am not going to let it ruin my evening. But wait it gets worse, the village code office says OH the meter behind you just ran out so he is getting a ticket too, like he is all happy about it. I figure I would help the guy out behind me so I go to put a quarter in the meter and the code guy says he already saw the meter run out so he is getting a ticket anyway. I could not believe it, but I know it is a waste of time to complain to the town board or go to court and fight my ticket, so I will pay my ticket and never go to Babylon again. Save yourself some money and aggravation with the code enforcement and go to Patchogue Village, plenty of parking and great places to eat."
