"LD Organic Hair Care will definitely be my new go to! I had the best first experience. Latasha was right on time for my appointment and had such a warm and welcoming demeanor. She was so careful with my type 4 hair, constantly detangling before, during, and after the wash. The chair I sat in for the wash was a massage one, which was a great perk and super relaxing. Throughout my treatment, Latasha gave me great hair care advice. I got ten cornrows for my style, and because of the in depth prep, the style itself took less than 30 minutes and came out extremely neat. I loved my experience and can’t wait to return!! Will definitely be recommending this place to my friends and family."

"The price was totally worth it! She focuses all her attention on your hair and goes so in depth on what you can do to improve it. She's so generous with the information she gives too; I was so surprised because all the information she gave me during my appointment seemed like people would pay thousands for it. Tell me why she was able to tell that I had a history of asthma and eczema and that I wasn't taking any vitamins, simply by examining my face and my hair. And then she even gave me SO MANY solutions to improve it. And the service was amazing too; the shampoo she used for my hair made it so soft, and you even have a massage chair massaging you while your hair is getting washed. I'm honestly so amazed and the wait was so worth it. I would pay $100 for this service all over again. I'm being so serious right now. She's raising the bar truly; I don't think I would be able to go to another natural hair stylist if they didn't offer these services now, TT she's got me hooked. [Side Note: she's so experienced too and studied multiple years in different fields just to do hair. [So, she's very trustworthy.]"

"It's so difficult to find a natural haircare salon and person who really knows about hair type and cares about hair health. I got that from the owner Tasha. With that said I wish I had a better outcome for my hair. Came in for a longtime concern of dryness, breakage as well as newfound greys. Got a wash, treatment, demi color and flat twist out which cost an arm and a leg. Left with the twist in. When I took them out I found I was left with several greys and hair was frizzy. Was disappointed for the price."

The environment is serene and welcoming and the staff is professional and warm—a welcome change now that everyone is a “wash before you come” stylist. Latasha KNOWS HAIR! She examined my 5yo’s hair and immediately knew what she needed. I have tried MANY stylists but Dee is a total angel. My daughter is extreeeeemely tender-headed to the point where many stylists have declined to do her hair past the first shampoo but Dee is SKILLED in handling little ones and my baby sat through her entire process without a murmur. They also made her feel like a total princess and spoke so tenderly to her. I have two girls and have been praying for a salon that was natural hair knowledgeable and also accommodating to children. I’m locked in for life with them now because there truly is NO other salon like this in Queens or Long Island.
