Dr. Peter T. Bronsky, DMD

"I cannot say enough about how happy I am with how my teeth look after having had braces done by Dr. Bronsky. I wished I had gone to him when I was in my 20s when I first started to see a shift in my front teeth. After many years, I decided that if I didn’t address this problem, I was very likely going to have more problems, since I had one front tooth that had rotated/twisted so far out that the side turned towards the front – I was beginning to look like a shark! I was very self-conscious about how this looked, and felt compelled to cover my mouth whenever I talked or smiled at someone. As they were, my teeth were crowded to begin with, which made flossing very difficult. At 50, I felt very self-conscious about braces and wondered if Invisalign might be the way to go and spoke with another orthodontist who recommended this. I hesitated with the latter’s recommendation, however, because the implication was that I would need to go through a similar number of appointments as I would have to attend if I were to get traditional braces; and, furthermore, I was cautious about whether this type of appliance would really work in my case. I wanted to make the best decision as I could, after all, since I had waited so long to start orthodontic work. Dr. Bronsky provided me with a very clear and detailed account of the pros and cons of Invisalign in contradistinction to traditional braces: skilled in working with both forms of treatment (and others), he was precise in his correlating the results of his detailed initial oral exam with what form of orthodontic procedure would be most efficacious and productive of the lasting results. In other words, his recommended form for treatment is highly individualized, precisely thought-out, very clearly explained, and skillfully implemented. I decided nonetheless to make an appointment with Dr. Bronsky – as for years I heard he had an excellent professional reputation and was very skillful in his interactions with kids and adolescents. (In fact, I wasn’t at first sure if he worked with adults as well. And I am so glad he did!) He provided a very thorough examination of my teeth and explained in detail and with great clarity why, in his professional judgement, I would not be a good candidate for Invisalign. And, of course, he was right. Dr. Bronsky’s number one priority is maintaining good dental health – and that includes a lot more than having a great smile. It means having years of training and expertise in understanding how to achieve the proper alignment without damaging the jaw and other teeth. From the first appointment to the last (celebration day!), Dr. Bronsky and his team provided the best care anyone could have ever asked for. He explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it at each appointment, and there was very, very little pain after the teeth adjustments were made at each appointment – although some discomfort, of course, is to be expected; but all I can say is that it was EASY and SEAMLESS. He would make the adjustments at the right pace for my given situation, with his attention always on the important details of my facial and mouth structure to ensure that my jaw, gums, and other teeth were moving and fitting well together. And they were. An enjoyable part about having the braces was the fact that they were so small that unless I told someone I had braces (or they were looking very closely), they did not even notice! I am so happy with the way my teeth turned out – they are straight and aligned, and moreover (and this is really important), I continue not to have any dental issues as a result of the orthodontic work I did, which I most certainly would have had I not worked with Dr. Bronsky. I am now better able to care for my teeth, more easily floss, and have great peace of mind and confidence regarding my dental health and appearance of my teeth. In short, I couldn’t be happier with the results of Dr. Bronsky’s orthodontic work! And, lastly, but certainly not least, his dental hygienists and administrative assistants are the best!!"
