"January 3rd, 2024 was a day I will never forget. I was escorted to the back room where David was located. To my surprise he was still working on a patient and was finishing up. I was baffled that David was actually kind and made small talk with this patient. David even offered to schedule the man’s next appointment. David Muench doesn’t even greet me, ask me anything or even say goodbye. He just walks off. After David Muench was finished with his patient he walked up to me and immediately started talking to me coldly. He said he will not move forward because I didn’t take my teeth out. I asked him why and reminded him about the one tooth suggestion. He was talking at me like I was a disobedient child and wouldn’t answer any of my questions. Rudely he told me I can just remove my braces and leave his office. Honestly, I was confused and as a patient I had concerns. He aggressively told me “Don’t tell me what I said!” and that was my ending of the conversation for me. I couldn’t take the disrespect any longer, I stormed off, I didn’t want anyone in this office to see me cry. He made me feel so low. As a patient I felt this was downright mean. He threw in my face that he’s been doing this for a long time, that’s fine but that doesn’t justify him talking to me dismissively and not wanting to answer any concerns I had. I’ve been up at night replaying this incident, I cried after I left his office. All I wanted was help and to fix my smile. He tore me apart and had no remorse about it. I understand that we may be culturally and ethnically different but I am not inferior to him. We are all human and we all have feelings. I can’t even write this without being emotional. This man was so mean and I have no clue what his issue was with me. Thank you to Lauren and Ashton for excellent hospitality and support. They are very kind. I’m sure Muench is kind to others, but that wasn’t my experience."
