"the lady with the glass working wednesday morning need to rejoin elementary school to learn how to talk and respect customer. She needs to be fired to maintain the reputation Avis car rental have maintained.she has some issue going on with her life. Such an awaful and horrible experience."

"The staff at the LIC Avis location is great. I've rented from this location quite a lot. Because this is a smaller location inside of a parking garage, they have a small inventory of cars and you are almost guaranteed to not get the class of car you booked on public holidays. Still the desk staff does a great job of getting you something reasonable. I haven't had issues with returns here as I've had at other locations. If you're flexible about which class of car you get, this location is great. If not, you're better off going to one of the airport locations."

"Awful service, the lady on this place tasteless, a ratchet and rude. I made a reservation and the first credit card that I gave got declined because the amount, then I proceed to give a second credit card but got declined because that one had a different billing address, at the moment we didn’t notice but when I realized and tried to proceed she refused to try again or modify my reservation. She said that it was not possible to do a new reservation neither, that I had to leave because Avis policies wouldn't allow to do anything anymore, when I told her that her service was bad she proceed to insult me. Worst experience renting a car"

"If I could choose no stars, I definitely would do that! I live near this AVIS location, so me and my husband rent here a couple of times. The first ones, the car was ok but the lady on the front desk, Carmen, was terrible; she seemed really unfriendly and shouted to other avis employees as well as customers. Last time there was the worst. We rented a car for a couple of days; my husband has a service dog and we tell Carmen that. After we returned the car, she said everything was ok. Aprox. 6 hours later she called my husband and told him that the car had dog hair in the back seats floor and we needed to clean it. If we didn’t do that, she would charge over 400 usd! He was at work, so my father (an elderly) and I went there to talk to her and explain that it was because of a service dog, that she shouldn’t charge it. She gave us the only option of cleaning it by ourselves with an avis vacuum cleaner. In good faith and willing to finish this argument, my father (again, an elderly) offered to do it. He cleaned up almost 99% of the hair. The lady, not being satisfied with this, threat us with calling her boss/supervisor; I agreed with her and offered myself to talk to him. When I said I would like to talk with her supervisor she denied it and told me “ok, you are good to go, I won’t charge a thing”. She knew she was acting wrong. Guess what?! Couple of days later, we received an avis notification telling us we needed to pay a 250 usd fee for cleaning services. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!! Of course we spoke with avis customer service; they apologized and removed the fee. Can’t believe AVIS allows situation like this to happen."

"I rent a car for 4 days. The whole renting process was very smooth and quick. After I returned the car, I realized I forgot my wallet on the car. When I went back to Avis, the car had already been rent out. Thanks to Carmen's call to the driver, they found the wallet and gave it back to me. I want to thank Carmen's efforts to help and the driver's good heart."
