"Horrible experience! Dirty and smelly carpet, room smelled like an ashtray, found lighter by window. Dusty furniture, stained walls. The bathroom with blood on side of toilet, towels with holes, moldy tub, spider web and bugs everywhere… very unsafe and disgusting. Never again! Quality Inn University Area."

"The first room I was offered was absolutely filthy and had clear evidence of bed bugs. Upon entry of the second room, the smell and live bed bugs crawling on the mattress guaranteed I would not be staying. Was promised a call back from a manager and they have yet to contact me."

"My girlfriend and I frequent this hotel 2 to 4 nights a week every week. We have bounced around and tried every hotel in Cortland, NY. over the first 3 months that we stayed in hotels a couple nights a week every week. Yet for the last 3 1/2 to 4 months we have not stayed a single other hotel. After our second night at this hotel. The front desk attendant at night remembered us when and when we left the woke up the blonde new morning front desk attendant remembered us, and was super super friendly and very kind. now she comes over most mornings and small talks with us. But I have met most their staff by now and they are all a very very kind and helpful lot. The Continental really is pretty good too. They have Yogurt, cereal, oatmeal with hot water and milk available, coffee, ice water water, oj, a smorgasbord of different things to toast with all the fixings you need, muffins, and waffles. The waffles really are great every time. Honestly before I head to bed I begin to have a terrible craving for a waffle. Then every morning Im ready to go and grab myself a nice hot one.. 5 out of 5 starts. There isn't anything the staff could do better for us that they already do each and every stay. We consider this our usual and go precisely nowhere else. I don't think we ever will again. 5 out of 5 for the rooms themselves though. They do a very well done job at keeping the rooms crystal clean. The room and decor it self has a very elegant and modern feel. Very nice. I recommend this place to all my friends that travel for work. Id highly recommend this wonderful hotel to anyone, if ask where they should stay in Cortland. Because you can really go wrong if you stay at the wrong place in Cortland. This is the opposite of those places. Thanks to all the staff for making our stays just simply awesome!"

"Nice hotel with lots of places to eat in the area. Easy on and off the major highways. All our rooms were clean. Some rooms had a fridge and microwave, mine did not. We had rented three rooms during our stay. Free breakfast consisted of fruit yogurt cereal toast bagels coffee tea juice and make your own waffles."
