"Never again! After 3 visits and 4 1/2 hours waiting, I finally got my 2020 Blazer inspected. At the first visit I waited 1.5 hours to be told my 1 year old tires would not pass, the fronts were worn pretty good but back tires were fine! I was told I should buy all 4 new… I did! The next visit to get my tires replaced for over $1000, I waited another 2 hours and was told they were still recommending brake replacement and that my vehicle was throwing 4 codes and would not pass… I was NOT told this the week before nor was I told my brakes should be replaced! Then the tech looks in the computer and says you’re right… we did not suggest brakes and I don’t know why they are doing another 12 point inspection they did one last week, this should ONLY be for tire replacement! I was then told I would get a 10 day sticker for inspection and that I had to drive my vehicle to hopefully reset the codes. Note, my vehicle is 4 years old, has never had a check engine light on or given me ANY problems. I left, they charged me for an inspection and did not give me a 10 days sticker. On the 3rd visit 3 days later waited another hour, overheard the mechanic and service technician discussing why my vehicle was even back there for a 3rd time! Then the service technician comes to me and tells me I am all set and it passed with no problem. I live locally and have always kept my business local but I will never return to the place for anything!"

"If I could give a 0 star review I would. They “repaired” a transmission line on my truck and failed to fill it back up. The service writer was beyond rude to me and told me that if I was a “waiting in the waiting room customer” I would be priority. Finally fixed it and instructed me to drive it knowing it had an issue and told me that issue would resolve with transmission relearning. Fast forward taken to another dealership after because the issue was getting worse and was told it was not filled properly and had caused irreversible transmission damage. They originally claimed they would make it right, were apologetic then ghosted me. Unfortunately people don’t like to go against big companies so I didn’t have the support I needed to convince a judge but lesson learned. I won’t let them touch another vehicle."

"My vehicle ran great except it had no power and every time I went on route 81 the check engine light came on. I went to Advanced Auto to have them plug it in and they said there was a problem with my turbo. I contacted Royal and was told the turbo would be covered by GM which really made me happy because I know how pricey they are, so I took it to Royal and they said it needed a turbo and an intake manifold which would cost me 630.00. I took it there Monday and they installed the turbo and intake manifold and I picked it up after work feeling really good that it would be running smoothly. When I got home from work my son wanted to take it up a hill to see how much more power it had with the new turbo so we headed out and I came to a hill and gave it a little gas and it started bucking and my check engine light was flashing and traction light came on and I thought what the heck is going on? So, Tuesday morning I called them first thing and they said to bring it down at 9:00 so I took it down and dropped it off. I called them at lunch time and Dani said there was more work that needed to be done and it had nothing to do with the work they did on Monday. She said the ignition coil was cracked and it needed 8 new spark plugs (it's a four cylinder) and it would be 635.00 plus tax. Of course, I saw red at that point because it wasn't running like that when I dropped it off Monday and I feel that when they were doing the turbo and intake manifold they cracked my ignition coil. The guy at Royal said that they didn't even get near the ignition coil when they changed the turbo and manifold so how could they have cracked it? I ordered the ignition coil online for 85.00 and I am getting the spark plugs from a local auto parts store here in Cortland and I am only going to purchase 4 of them not 8. I will never go back to this business! It was a terrible experience!"

"I was quoted a price to get it done but it did not include tax and apparently you charge $75 to look at my lines and see they needed to be replaced. When I checked out it was $100 more than expected because of that being left out of what I was told it would cost. If you get the work done there, it's ridiculous to still have to pay for a diagnostic fee Most places don't do that even if you don't get the work done there. I will never be back, way over priced, Mr. Tire is way better and I feel more honest."
