"Handy Pantry in Mattituck is special. Been going there for a sandwich for lunch since high school. They make great sandwiches and is a great stop for grabbing cold cuts and basic groceries. Some items are priced higher than a grocery store, but others are cheaper and everything is great quality. Plenty of beer too."

"Great local convince store. Staff are local residents, helpful & friendly. Just as any "connivence" store, the prices are slightly higher than a regular store. They have a deli where you can purchase deli meats, sandwiches or salads & the deli prices are reasonable. They get fresh rolls & bagels delivered every morning. They are known for their breakfast sandwiches & do it yourself coffee area. They stock dog & cat food (both wet & dry). They also sell cat litter, something 7-11 does not. You can find Panera soup, their own homemade soup, yogurt, eggs, bread, milk, juice, water, newspapers (including local papers & guides), ice, beer, ice cream, baby items, some frozen food, soda, pasta, peanut butter, jelly & Southold Town garbage bags."
