Burgercade

"I recently went to Burgercade in Mattituck and was SERIOUSLY disappointed. Most games don't work correctly (joy stick missing or not functioning well or at all) or have a sign that says game is broken. There are maybe 10 arcades in total with 2 pinball machines. The nostalgia of playing old games is ruined by machines that aren't working properly. The food was also really bad. I ordered a brisket burger and it was the blandest thing I've ever eaten. The burger bun looked like they bought the cheapest one they could find weeks ago in a supermarket. The actual burger didn't look or taste like brisket. I'm not into spicy foods, but this was AWFUL! My friend ordered the pulled chicken salad and the chicken was NOT pulled....it was chunks. That too tasted awful. Really disappointed that I traveled over an hour for what I thought would be lots of fun but was a real let down. Do not waste your time or your money on the food or the games. If I could zero stars I would."

"We had a double cheeseburger, fried chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries and it was all delicious. One of the tastiest burgers I’ve ever had and if you don’t believe me see for yourself. I was told the fried chicken sandwich was awesome. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Plenty of arcade type games to play. Very cool place with a great vibe."

"A group of us stopped in for some drinks and burgers the burgers were so good and very inexpensive. Gluten free buns available. The wings were fantastic crispy and not fatty. The drinks were well poured. Kyra loved the margaritas! This place has about 15 50 Cent arcade games. The place was full of parents with kids and adults. The kids had fun playing classic arcade games with other children. Some parents were playing games with their kids. Some adults that are children at heart were playing games as well with other adults. I suggest a hipster or millennial come here with friends and family to let loose. Parents bring your kids. The atmosphere was fantastic very wholesome. The food was so good. It’s a burger that everyone would like messy, savory, & juicy. The staff worked very hard to create an atmosphere that was fun and chill. Thank you for a great dinner! This place should be a must stop for Riverhead NY. I have been coming to Riverhead for 25 years."

"Great spot for lunch. We had the cheeseburgers and they were very tasty. Older selection of games which was a fun throwback. Order and wait for your name to be called with open seating type of joint. I would go back."
