"This is the absolute best puertorrican restaurant I have ever been too in the United States. The ambience, cleanliness, quality and flavor of the food, pricing, everything was perfect!!! The owners are amazing and very friendly! Will 100% come back!!!!"

"I am very happy I found this great Latin food restaurant on my trip south on 81. Very easy on and off the Cortland exit. Food was delicious. The two people who worked there were extremely pleasant. I had the chicken, plantains and rice. Perfect amount of food per serving, and the home-made hot sauce was delicious!! It was a low to medium heat (I understand not everyone loves their lips and tongue burning off like me), but it had a nice bite and it did not change the actual flavor of the food. If you enjoy hot sauce, give it a try! I can't wait for my next trip up 81 to stop in here! With so many fast food places (which I refuse to eat at), this was a great find with great food. Could have taken the food to go, but I ate there and really enjoyed the atmosphere. My order was prepared quick, so don't concern yourself about a wait for delicious food."

"Had to stop half way through my meal to add this review. The food here is exceptional! The person who put together my plate was helpful and so kind. The pork and fried plantain are cooked to perfection and taste amazing. The also make their own guava pastry that looked so good I bought a half dozen to bring to a friends house for desert. Highly recommend this place!!!!"

"Slow Roasted Pork, Yellow rice and empanadas soooo freaking to die for. It was my first time trying La Bamba and it wont be my last. I highly recommend this place to everyone. They definitely know how to make amazing and tasty food. Hidden Jem of Cortland NY. (Ignore my chewing gum on the brown paper bag, lol)."

"Small establishment but big flavor. Nothing is spicy unless you want the bomba sauce. Three different types of rice to choose from both of the bowls we got was the chicken. The veggies we chose were the root veggie and the beans. They both had really good flavor! The atmosphere was low and quiet. The service was personable. We also ordered the soursop and passion fruit fruit drinks which were also very good. I'd definitely pick this up again and try different combinations."
