"The Lake is beautiful. Hiking& Adventures are memorable. The cleanliness of the cabin was lacking. The bunk bed sheet was sandy. My brother's foot almost went thru the soft floor beside the hot tub (video of foot bounce). Pillows & Beds aren't worth the $."

"We stayed in the cabins. The cabins are very rustic with few upgrades. We didn't mind that so much as the cabin didn't look clean. The window sills were dirty & had bugs, the carpet wasn't swept. The bunk beds are a little uncomfortable but the sheets were clean. The steps in front of the door were a trip hazard (easy fix) & the inside should be sprayed for spiders & other creepy crawlies, but overall our stay was nice! The staff was great. I would definitely stay again."

"The view from the cabin was beautiful - a nice look over the lake. The cleanliness of the cabin, however, was SEVERELY lacking. Dead bugs stuck to the ceilings everywhere, moss/leaves stuck in the window tracks, liquid stains running down most of the walls. There is a kitchen with all the appliances you need, but be sure to bring your own cookware as there is not enough provided to cook a meal. The shower door was literally barely hanging out. Will not stay in these cabins again."

"Typically, we have a positive experience with the Salt Fork Cabins. In this visit, we did have some issues. The cabin which was assigned to us was listed as lakefront, however there was no access to the water from our cabin. Furthermore, the cabin was probably one of the dirtiest places we have stayed. The counters and floors were quite dirty and we spent most of the first hour or so cleaning the cabin to feel comfortable enough to settle in for the weekend. I realize that this is a cabin, but the level of cleanliness we expect from a rental was way below par here."

"We stayed in a hillside cabin near the walking path that leads to the lodge. Cabin was neat and clean inside. Our charcoal grill was nice but our neighbors was old and unusable. We had a great view of the lake from our screened in front porch"
