"We are staying for my husband's birthday and little family weekend getaway. I was a little scared because some of the reviews but was so happy when we arrived. Rooms are remodeled, clean and nice. Updated decor, soft beds and amazing pillows. We had dinner at Docks, watched beautiful sunset. Overall good hotel."

"If you book here on VRBO do your homework! This view is what they describe as "beachfront"see my photos of the actual view, and pet friendly means no dogs on the beach. We got most of our money back even though it was non-refundable, but had to pay a fee for the one night we stayed because we were too tired to go back home. Found another place in the morning. Also steep not well lit stairs. Wasn't for us. Manager is not local but was helpful considering the circumstances. DO YOUR HOMEWORK for this place in Port Clinton. Was very disappointing."
"Our first time staying at the Beachfront Resort didn't disappoint! Room was spacious, clean and right on the beach/lake. Plenty of chairs to sit on the beach and relax. The amenities are great. Within walking distance to the Jet Express, bars and restaurants. Doc's has great food just a few steps away. We will definitely be back and hopefully for a longer stay next time!"
