"Cute little place for the weekend at Hocking Hills. Lake for fishing/kayaking. Comfy. Clean. There's a bird that hangs out and taps on ur window at 7 am lol Only negatives were the fire pit is under a tick filled tree so be careful. And some of the jets were out in the hot tub. But still was nice and relaxing. Would def stay Agian."

"Not enough supplies for the kitchen. Had pans with the wrongs size lids or nothing at all to use. Really had to watch using towels because they didn't leave many. Extra blankets were non existent. We had to clean the place before we could live there for a few days. The water stunk terribly and was very hard well water. I'm not sure how we were to use the dvd player because none of the remotes worked for it! Overall The cabin wasn't terrible itself, but everything else took away from the experience"

"We stayed in the Chickasaw cabin and ended up leaving a day early as we were not pleased. Cabin was very outdated, stains on the carpets, no extra blankets/towels/wash cloths. No sponge for the sink- not even an extra dish washing pod? We also paid to bring our dog and were promised a dog bed would be provided but when we got there- no dog bed at all. No communication on check out instructions. Very overpriced for what you’re getting- not sure how this place has a 4+ star rating but if you look up Venture in Real Estate who owns them the reviews are much more accurate in reflecting their properties."

"My family will not be returning here. The water smelled like rotten eggs and when you would run the shower, it would make the whole cabin smell. Afterwards, showering or washing your hands/dishes, your body would smell like iron. If you're a person with hair, our hair had a stench to it for a day or two after we got home. Although it is a septic/well system, the smell itself indicates a bacterial problem, not harmful to humans, however extremely smelly. That tells me they are not doing a good job cleaning or taking care of their system. The pictures they use are not a true depiction of the cabin itself, so I believe they need to be updated to show a true description. The hot tub was not well kept and as others state, is very loud. You have to tell to the person next to you . There had been a leak under the sink in the kitchen and water was puddled under the sink, I cannot be sure how long. There was not true description of what was provided at the cabin (towels, toiletries, etc). The cabin was not very well cleaned or managed. We will never rent this cabin and I would say no cabin managed by this company. However we stayed out of the cabin as long as humanly possible and did all of the things available! I do highly recommend hiking and sight seeing!"

"We have been to this cabin before and we plan to go back again. It is clean, well maintained and located in a beautiful area of the hills. The kitchen has all the essentials so we are able to easily make our own meals. There is a two person swing on the back deck for relaxing in the morning and a hot tub for cool evenings. The owner is friendly and willing to make your stay special. She even left us some home made goodies! We loved it. Highly recommend"
