"Madness reigns. The first challenge your soul must endure is the parking lot. You wait with your vehicle half blocking traffic , creating a perfect circular vortex of anger that encompasses the street and entrance to the market parking lot. Once you attain access to the parking lot, you discover this is a false achievement ; other motorists mostly driving electric pedal cars or Subarus stop and start with no apparent thought or plan --- turns once begun are quickly abandoned , the drivers seemingly immune to geometry, time, or space, or common courtesy. After this navigating past zombie like wandering shoppers with no sense of awareness or seeming self preservation blocking all the possible paths of traffic within the parking lot itself you search in vain for a parking spot not inhabited by people sitting in the cars apparently reading novels. . At last a space opens up but the price is having to enter the market. The market is full of the oblivious hipsters and granola types who inhabit this space. It is a grotesque parody of the bazaar at Marrakech, as if dumb animals had been granted only the amount of sentience required to mock humanity. Trying to get around the athelerosclerotic clots of shoppers, dogs and ill behaved children , you must search for every item,.The constant walking up and down causes a numbness that borders on profound despair.Your conscious mind registers merely annoyance, impatience. But on a cellular level. your body cries out in weariness. The fatigue you feel is s warning: Millions of years of evolution trying to save you from becoming mired in the tar, from sinking into the warm blackness and ultimately being reclaimed by the earth itself"

"Been my fave weekly farmer's market for over ten years. Easy to get to, easy off-street parking, nice mix of vendors. Most importantly, DOG FRIENDLY. Love seeing well behaved, well loved, pups enjoying the market as much as their people. Organic produce ✔️ Pastured meats✔️ Eggs✔️ Cheese✔️ Baked goods✔️ Cup of coffee✔️ Hot breakfast✔️ Maple syrup ✔️ Honey✔️ Jams, Jellies & Preserves✔️ Flowers & Plants✔️ Even some personal care and household items."

"I love coming here on Sunday mornings! My favorite places at the farmer’s market are Neno’s to get a breakfast burrito, and Ugly Duck Coffee to get an iced espresso. They have tons of vendors with fresh fruits, vegetables, organic meat, plants, soaps, etc., in addition to a few coffee and food vendors. Sometimes they also have a live band playing. It’s a great places for families. And I especially love seeing all the dogs! Overall, it’s a vibrant synergy between everyone, and perfect way to spend your Sunday morning."

"I liked the Brighton Farmers Market. If you're looking for honey or coffee or pizza or specialty organic veggies, they have it. It's not the least expensive Farmers Market I've ever been to, but it's one of the nicer ones. Kind of like Fairport canal days only without the canal...and in Brighton. I spent around $7 and got 6 oz of shiitake mushrooms and a little baggie of pearled barley. When looking over the items, be aware that there are queues everywhere. So don't accidentally step in front of a line. Parking is ample. You can park behind the market or you can park on the street or in the circle in front of the elementary school. They request you don't bring your dogs, but many did. I arrived at 9:08 and it was already very busy. All in all a fun place to go."
