"Dr Honasage being an Endocrinologist , ignores, serious health problems associated with Pituitary Adenoma and brain tumors. She is very inefficient in dealing and communicating with her patients. During , my husband’s appointment for hormone therapy due to pituitary tumor , instead of giving attention to the patient ; she was more inclined to yelling at her hospital staff. She had a very hard time to work on Computers which depicted that she is not computer savvy . Now, all works are done through digital system but it appeared that she could not access to my husbands medical records easily. Whenever , we wanted to ask any question about my husband who underwent neurosurgery in December 2023; she asked her Personal Assistant to answer. She then referred my husband to another Enfocrinologist with appointment date 1/9/24. On 1/8/24, I received a call from Henry Ford Hospital that the Doctor is not available as she is in ‘ labour’. They then gave an appointment for 1/10/24 with a Resident and we felt no confidence on a junior. My husband is now seeking appointment from other Endocrinologist for treatment of pituitary related hormone disorder. Despite , of all the above there has been no follow up call from Dr Honasage Office. I have never seen a Doctor who has ego or grudges with his/her patients . Medical is a ‘ Nobel’ profession and if it is all about money and ego ; then there is no ‘ Nobelness’ ."
