"If you have any sort of health issue, don't waste your time. I wanted to donate so I could make money doing something meaningful but this place has wasted 4 hours of my time over the last two days and I still haven't been able to donate so I'm done. Went in for my initial appointment yesterday- I waited an hour before they started the process of my initial visit with me, it took another hour to get through the check-in, identity verification, vitals and questionnaire portions and while I'm waiting to do the last part which is the physical, their system goes down. I waited another hour to see if it would start working before I had to leave for another appointment and they were nice enough to force book me for today. I went in today and was actually pleasantly surprised that I didn't have to start the whole process over again. I finally got in with a nurse for the physical portion and two questions in she tells me I have to get a form filled out by my doctor that would then have to be reviewed by their doctors to see if I am eligible to donate before I can even schedule to come in and do the same thing again and appointments are already booked up to like 3 weeks out. Guess I will find a less meaningful way to make extra cash because this is a pain the you know what. I don't blame any of the people at this location, they were all great but this company's process is a joke. If there are things that make you ineligible to donate or extra things certain donors have to do in order to see if they are eligible, make that part of the online process before you even go into a donation center. You should have donors fill out an online questionnaire and if any of their answers require additional information, present them with a link to access the necessary paperwork and tell them to bring it to their first appointment. I was literally at my primary care provider's office this morning and it would have been very easy to plan my initial donation around that appointment to get the info they needed but instead their process made me plan two entire days now around planning to be there for several hours only for me to leave both times still having not been able to donate. Absolutely ridiculous."

"There is something going on at the Columbus location. People are nice but they are so short staffed it really becomes unfair to the ones that show up and the customer trying to donate. People can’t expect to wait hours to get through to donate . If you can’t get done in 2 hours from start to finish then BioLife should pay double. After observing the operations and my lean background that place definitely needs better systems in place to become more efficient. However, it starts with people showing up. Again it’s BioLife and management who are at fault. Was not able to finish promotion due lack of workers. Not fair to customers."

"The actual draw of plasma is always easy and the technicians are FABULOUS!!! Usually, always friendly and hard working. HOWEVER, the waiting is horrible. You "sometimes" wait a REALLY LONG TIME....at most stages of the process. It literally could take 1(one) hour, but pushes 2, and even 3 (three hours) sometimes. This is NOT BENEFICIAL!!! Sometimes, it is NOT about the money. If you had one more floater, or an extra on the floor, it would be PERFECT!!"

"Every time I go to a BioLife, I’m always so impressed with your staff today. I went in and I met with Taylor. She was absolutely amazing. I am terrified of needles. I didn’t even feel her needle stick. She was wonderful absolutely wonderful and she was easy to talk to, but everybody that I came in contact with your Center were absolutely amazing. They were the sweetest people. I will absolutely be back again."
