Getting Started

If you’re a first-time plasma donor, you'll need the following:

- A current, valid photo ID (must be 18 years old)

- Social Security Card

- Proof of current address (such as a piece of mail postmarked in the past 30 days, or a current lease)

- Active military personnel should provide their mailing and physical address.

Donation Process

1. Initial Visit: Your first visit may take 1-2 hours, including a suitability screening, medical history review, and health questionnaire.

2. Subsequent Visits: Future visits will typically take less time. We recommend calling ahead to inquire about the best times to donate.

3. First-Time Donors: A staff member will greet you at the front desk, check your documents, and guide you through an educational video and health screening before you begin donating.

4. Compensation: After a successful plasma donation, you will be compensated. You can return for a second donation after 48 hours.

Preparation Tips

- Hydration: Drink 6-8 cups of water or juice the day before and the day of your donation.

- Nutrition: Eat protein-rich and iron-rich meals at least 3 hours before donating.

FDA Guidelines

We adhere to all U.S. Food and Drug Administration guidelines, which permit two plasma donations within a seven-day period, with at least 48 hours in between donations. Your body replaces the donated plasma within 24 to 48 hours, so hydration is crucial.

Follow-Up

It’s important to return for your second visit. We test your first donation sample to ensure it’s safe for use in life-saving medicines. Remember, your first donation is only usable after your second visit.

"My 2nd visit: I arrive at 10:07am. I understand understaffed, there were only 2 people working the front. I get flagged for answering a question the same as my 1st visit... I occasionally take OTC medication. I have to wait to be approved. Return to screening, show my arms, I have a bruise from my last donation. I was told to have a seat up front and wait for physical evaluation. After an hour of watching random people come through the front door and just walk directly into an exam room, hang out for a few minutes and walk out, I left. It is now 11:51am as I sit on my car making this review. Theost efficient thing done was scanning my QR code and taking my weight. Major waste of time."

"I hate having to give this place 1 star since I loved it but I was recently deferred for “causing a commotion” I was about to get stuck to donate then I was whisked away to one of the private rooms I was told several times that it was because during my last donation the anticoagulant made me a little shaky. When I get in the room however the one of like 2 rude staff members told me it was hygiene. I had to shove my fingers essentially in my nose to get even a faint smell. It was 90 degrees and I’m plus sized so I was sweating slightly. The “nurse” then had the audacity to say I did smell and that she could smell it as soon as she walked back in the room. Maybe that was your attitude lady. But go ahead and let the people who vape WHILE donating and the methheads and crackheads donate so they can get their drug money I’ll take my plasma somewhere else However their one person Jake gets 5 stars they are incredibly good at their job and deserve a raise for sure"

"I had a great experience. The nurse, Shelly was absolutely fantastic! And Brittany on the floor was just as good. I didn’t even feel the needle going on. Thank you! Edit: I just wanted to add that I have had Chevelle the last few times that I have been here and she is amazing! One of the best and hardest workers they have here!"
