"Enjoy my doctor - the staff is not great. They are also awful with scheduling. This is the 2nd time they have cancelled an appointment without any notice and I show up and they cannot take me. They do not even apologize and make it seem like I am the issue when they need to reschedule. I asked them to provide my next appointment date and it was completely different than what was on the printed out schedule they gave me. I am disappointed and feel like they do not make an effort to make myself feel comfortable or welcomed. I never write reviews but this one I had too, I am now looking for a new doctor because the staff is not great which is a disappointment because I enjoyed my doctor but cannot have everyone of my scheduled appointments be cancelled without notice."

"I have been a patient of Dr. Busick's for some time now, and I cannot speak highly enough of her expertise, compassion, and dedication to patient care. She has been instrumental in helping me navigate my PCOS diagnosis, always taking the time to listen to my concerns and provide invaluable support and guidance. However, my experience with the medical staff at this clinic has been far from satisfactory. Despite Dr. Busick's exceptional care, the support staff's unprofessionalism and lack of organization have marred my overall experience. One particular incident stands out: I encountered significant difficulties getting a PA for my birth control approved. Despite repeated follow-ups over a span of two months, the staff members seemed unable to expedite the process. I spoke to four different individuals, yet the issue persisted, and I was left frustrated and stressed by the ordeal. Furthermore, during this process, I was astonished when staff attempted to explain the workings of birth control to me, as if I were uninformed about my own healthcare needs. This lack of understanding and empathy only added to my disappointment. While I have the utmost respect and appreciation for Dr. Busick, I cannot overlook the shortcomings of her support team. As a patient, I expect a seamless and professional experience throughout my interactions with a medical practice. Regrettably, this was not my reality. In conclusion, while Dr. Busick's expertise and care are commendable, the inefficiencies and unprofessionalism of her medical staff have left me deeply disappointed. I sincerely hope that the clinic addresses these issues to ensure that all patients receive the high standard of care they deserve."

"Holy moly, what is going on at Avina right now. I'm a long-time patient, but my last two experiences have been less than awesome in a lot of ways. The biggest complaint right now is that the doctor I've been seeing is no longer "on it" and it feels extremely rushed and impersonal. I returned for my yearly, expecting her to ask me how my long-term problem conditions have been doing, but she was very weirdly brief, only asking the normal surface-level questions you get "How are periods? Any pain during sex?" that indicated no knowledge of my history. I had to bring it up myself that I've done X treatment with other specialists and provide an update to her in reference to what had happened on my last Avina visit (when I had an emergency situation). If I hadn't brought it up, there would have been no acknowledgement of it. She was nice as pie, but medically speaking, it was literally no different than if I'd been in some free clinic somewhere seeing a brand new doctor for the first time. It made me feel like just a number. The only reason I continue to come here is for that long-standing history. Now, there's really no point. On top of that, I ran into trouble with the front desk staff. One lady at check in was telling me I have a balance on my account, which I do not. It has not been billed to me yet. The attitude I felt was like she didn't believe me when I told her that I hadn't received a billing statement yet, but had in fact promptly paid the prior balance which I did get a statement for. Then, there was some kind of a problem with my insurance coming up on their end (which is an Avina problem, not a me problem, as my insurance is valid and I'm in-network) that ended up being discussed pretty loudly, in front of all the other patients staring at me. The staff weren't being mean or anything (and shouldn't be because it's not my fault), but it was awkward and handled kind of poorly. I don't see why problems in their system should become my problem, as the patient. As a final note, whatever you do, don't ever let on to the medical staff here that you want to avoid radiation - you'll get a 10-minute dissertation about how "radiation isn't all that bad for us". Oy vey. All things in mind, it's just not a good experience anymore, and I'm reconsidering finding a new OBGYN for next year's yearly."

"Started seeing Dr. Guiness this year for my first pregnancy and have been very grateful for her genuinely kind and empathetic practice style. Highly recommend this group! Most of my coworkers go here and everyone only has wonderful things to say about all the docs."

"Dr Crouser has been amazing through all 3 pregnancies. She is calm, kind and knowledgeable. I trust her completely. I also saw the NP, Lauren, for an urgent pregnancy concern and she was also wonderful. I felt she really heard me and took the time to make sure I was comfortable that everything was ok with the pregnancy. Some of the front staff may be newer, and need more patience. I don’t envy them having to figure out all the scheduling! With that said they took the time to get all my appointments scheduled for me and worked around my schedule so I have no complaints. Thanks to everyone at Avina Lane Ave, I felt very well cared for during this last year."
