"I was dissatisfied with a screening and consult I had here, so I then went to another dermatologist in the same building. This gave me an opportunity to contrast the two experiences. 1. Dr. Sebastien commented something to the effect of being surprised that I wanted a screening at my age. Seemed off to me to implicitly discourage it in that way. The other place pointed out that after 30yo, annual is generally recommended. I'm 45, so well into that range. 2. The actual screening was a disturbingly brief glance, he walked around me once without appearing to look very closely. The other office extensively and closely examined my skin with a light and magnifying glass, finding two places to biopsy, which were later found to be atypical and need excision. These were not noted during my visit at this office, so I'm happy I went somewhere else. 3. I had two specific areas I was concerned about. Dr. Sebastien said something to the effect of that he wasn't sure what they were, and prescribed something to see if it would help, then he could look at them again at another time. The other practitioner correctly diagnosed them immediately, explained what they were, and pointed out they were insignificant. The Dr's manner in my opinion is rushed, bothered, and not warm. Maybe he was having a bad day, I can't be sure. The other practitioner was a PA who was patient, thorough, and seemed to genuinely care (and only two floors away). Two stars instead of one only because the desk staff were kind, and payment was processed efficiently, which maybe is the real point of this place."

"Went to In network doctor. Saw nurse and physician assistant. They sent labs to out of network lab! Received HUGE bill, why go to in network practice for them to use out of network lab, they should inform you at the time of your appointment. Would not recommend this practice."

"I went to see Dr. Sebastian, paid him $400 which was a final payment at the time of visit and they billed me $363. I left multiple messages to no avail and finally got a hold of them after a few weeks. (They rarely answer the phone) They could not find my payment still and told me I owed $363. After staying on the phone with them, they finally found my payment And then realized if they billed me for the $363 therefore owing me a $37 Credit. The office manager ended up getting on the phone and told me that was not correct I owe $400 because that’s how much they bill. The insurance is $363 which is a lie.. everyone knows self-pay is less. They incorrectly billed me and when I told him I was writing a Google review about tue incident the office manager rudely hung up on me. I would not recommend this practice, they are rude and unorganized and cannot even keep track of billing and payments nor answer phones when you have an issue. The receptionist was very rude when I checked, didn’t even telling me I was booked by mistake since I was self-pay . The women in the office are not pleasant to deal with and it’s unfortunate that Dr. Sebastian is allowing women like this to ruin his practice."

"Dr . Sebastian is a fantastic dermatologist! My husband had a spot that hurt on his head and asked another dermatologist to look at it, TWICE! She said it was nothing and refused to do a biopsy. My husband decided to ask another doctor to check it, Dr . Sebastian immediately did a biopsy and it was skin cancer, squamous cell carcinoma!!! Dr. Sebastian did the surgery and all has been well since. I went to him about a spot on my face snd. Dr. Sebastian did a biopsy, I had MELANOMA. The other doctor did not notice the spot at all at my spot check appointment. Dr. Sebastian is a life saver, literally! We also quite like his personality, besides being a brilliant doctor he is very nice!"

"I had a similar experience to others and I wish I’d read the reviews before I made an appointment with Dr. Sebastien. I waited a long time, mostly saw his nurses, and he looked at my skin for about a minute before deciding what it was and prescribing me a cream he said would cost around $200. I asked some other questions and he gave me some pamphlets, said his staff would reach out about the prescription, and then he was gone. I have not received and follow up about the prescription. Kind of felt like when you go to your friend’s house and it ends up being a pyramid scheme party."
