Ramada by Wyndham Juneau

"Called ahead of time to get an early check in and was promised an early check in. Front desk lady was rude and denied us an early check in, but said we could keep our luggage in the back, which turned out to be a creepy storage closet. Finally we were able to check into our room and it had to be easily over 80 degrees. There was no thermostat and only uncontrolled radiant heating. At the front desk we were told we could open up the windows and that would help, it helped slightly but we didn’t want to have the windows open all day and night considering the busy road below. Thankfully was given a refund and immediately packed up and left for the four points. Save your money and time and go somewhere else."

"Rooms seem outdated, TV was old, the signal was terrible. Bed was comfy tho. Staff really friendly. Place was clean. I would stay here again. I do not like how you cannot control temp in the room. But at least they had a fan or even a space heater for whichever you prefer. I used the fan, it was too hot in the room"

"It's hard to figure out how to enter the hotel from the surrounding roads, but you can find the entrance near the KTOO studio. The check in lady was sweet. Our room was very big. Not much in the way of amenities, but super close to downtown. We were apparently put in the bird room bc you could always see at least 4 pigeons hanging out on the railing outside the window. When I drove by later I could see that they hang out on only two windows on the west facing 4th fooor. So truly the bird room."

"It was all about the view! One of the best. Disappointed on how sparsely furnish the room was. This was one of the cheaper rooms in Juneau however one of their more expensive rooms at the hotel. The room did not even have a coffee table or anywhere to eat. The TV reception was horrible in the living room, could not watch local channels however you could watch Netflix. The couch was extremely uncomfortable. No ability to adjust temp in the room even though it stated that we would. Had to keep the temperature down by cracking the windows. Shower was a little hard to turn on. Bed was comfortable, room clean. unfortunately not a lot of deco or extra comforts, again very sparsely furnished. Service was always friendly and quick if we had any issues or questions. Love the location, because it was slightly out of town. So away from the big crowds. Under 10-15 minutes walk to just about everything in town. Located within 5 minutes of a grocery store! It was located next to a main Street so there was some traffic noise at night."

"We enjoyed our stay - the hotel very conveniently located with easy walking access to all you may need downtown Juneau. Make sure you try the salmon eggs benedict for breakfast! Rooms were clean, comfortable and surprisingly spacious!"
